Sunday
-------------------------------------------------------------------

1)Siena(+3.5)

Siena has been a money maker all year long..........14-5 ATS YTD.................6-3 ATS their last 9...............8-2 ATS on the road. They have covered the # here at Rider 3 of the last 4 trips, including outright wins as a 5 pt dog and a pick'em.

They have struggled sometimes on defence, but their D numbers are better in their last 5 games, 4 of which have been against the "top half" of MAAC teams.

Rider is 4-10 overall in their last 14 games, and of those 4 wins, 2 came against 6-17 Canisius. In fact, they are 1-7 vs 500 or better teams since XMAS, and Siena falls into that category. Currently they are on a 0-4 ATS run.

2)Ohio State(-2.5)

I think this line will drop before tip off, but I'll lock it in here at 2.5.

The Buckeyes have huge statistical advantages in this one.

OFG%
Illinois road.......40.5%
OSU home.......50.3%

O3FG%
Illinois road......31.6%
OSU home.......39.9%

FT's
Ilinois road.....53.8%.....Yikes!
OSU home......71.0%

Illinois is 3-5 ATS their last 8. Ohio State is 4-1 ATS their last 5, and 7-2 ATS their last 9.

Oh ya, Ohio State is only 12-1 S/U at home.

It's a low number to lay with a hot team playing at home.

3)Missouri (+2)

An automatic play for me......................1st game with a new coach hits at a very good clip in all sports (But, 1st game only).

The talent is there for the Tigers.............they do have wins over Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Kansas, and Kansas State has lost 3 of their last 4, including to (gulp) Baylor.

4)Marquette (-1)

I've said before how impressed I am with this Marquette team. I think they might be the best team NOT in the Top 25.

This is the dreaded 1st game back off a 3 game road trip for Rutgers, who have lost their last 3 and 6/7.

Marquette is 10-4 S/U in their last 14 with the losses to #16 West Virginia, #12 Pittsburgh (by 6 pts), #4 Villanova (by 4 pts) and to 16-8 Cincinnati (by 4 pts). They are 4-0 ATS their last 4 and 8-2 ATS their last 10.

Some key stats from each team's last 5 games.......

OFG%
Marq............47.9%
Rutg............41.8%

O3FG%
Marq.............44.2%....WOW!
Rutg.............35.6%

DFG%
Marq.............38.6%
Rutg..............48.0%

5)Western Michigan (+3)

When the key stats for this game against Ohio are filtered for home/road, W.Michigan shows advantages in every category. They are 6-2 S/U at home and look like a solid home dog here.

Good luck out there today,
Tiger

6)UMass (+13)

Just like the Wyoming game yesterday, UMass shows defensive and rebounding statistical advantages over FSU and are a DD dog.

Also, a classic flat spot for FSU...............a non-conference game against a 10-10 opponent, with a big, big conference game vs NC State coming up on Wednesday.

Thanks for the kudos DeDe. As far as later games I have the 5:30 PM UMass play and still looking at the 2 night games. Liking Miami right now, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

What did we all miss in the Marquette game? Can someone who won with Rutgers please tell me what they saw there that I missed. Thanks.

I had Marquette initially but hedged at half with Rutgers -1. Marquette blew a 9 point lead with 3:00 to go in the first half. They gave up a 10-1 run which made it a tie at halftime, rather than a big Marquette lead. In my opinion that was the game right there. It gave Rutgers momentum and a lot of hope. Up until that point Marquette was controlling the game pretty well. That run pretty much opened the floodgates.
