OK here goes the crazy MAAC...
Rider-5.5 over Peter ***
With the most talent of any team in this conf they were in 1st place,lost about 5 in a row and now are in 5th..but after being on a losing streak they beat Monmouth friday by 9...so maybe they have awoken with the MAAc seedings and tourney starting soon...Scott and Marshal had good games in Mom win,Vaughen has been back from his injuries 6 games ago...I would think he can play like he used too...Jordan is the best pt gd in the conf...steady,passes and can score...they are 13-13 and think they get a 10 pt rd win today in NJ..Peter is 6-18...they have lost 6 in a row.. they never could score but they always played outstanding defense..well their coach is up in Poughkeepsie now and they can't play defense anymore...Rider is 1-9 ats but Peter is is close to that..think the Broncos win this..again I hate Baggett Riders coach...but think he even can't screw this game up today
Marist +3 over Monmouth **
Might be stretching this play taking my Foxes ...they have won 3 straight and are 6-7 in the MAAC...overall 11-14...thats more wins in last 3 years...on Friday they shut down Quinn to 61 pts..last game 58...Dunn has brought his defensive game from Peter to Marist...its still not there yet but his kids are playing tough defense...Parker their best scorer and gd has been benched in critical times because he couldn't find his man on defense..Dunn has elevated everyones game...but Monmouth won before the Rider game won 4 in a row...but they had 23 turnovers vs Rider in their loss...think Foxes could pressure them and keep this game close and just maybe steal a rd game..Foxes already have 2 rd MAAC wins already...think last time that happened was the Pirates beating the Yankees in the 60' s world series
Canisus -6.5 over Manhattan *
Jaspers have won 4 of 5...defense is better...Griffs had Reese their best player suspended for the yr...Molson can score... Griffs have played better winning a few w/o him...small play
Quinn +3 over Siena **
Quinn has been up and down...but they have Young the best player in the MAAC...they are in 3rd place in the conf and think they have enough to beat the Saints...Saints are the surprise team..playing very well...was upset when the fired Pastos last yr..he didn't deserve it...but new coach with his uptempo has his kids playing well...
Fairfield +2.5 over Niagara **
Trying to figure these 2 team is impossible..the 2 teams have lost 8 straight...one is 4-9 and the other 4-10..not telling you which is each..they both suck...both defense are bad.. Purple has Prochet inside who is the best player in the gym today..think Stags have the over all better players ...
Nova -1,5 over Johnnies **
Ponds in the past 3 games vs Nova is avg 28 pts a game...but think playing at the Garden despite Johnnies 2nd home gets Nova up more...
Houston -18 over Tulane ***
Green Wave can't score or play defense.. Coogs play outstanding defense and can score...Davis, Brook tough..watched them last week with Jarreau..totally out of control but unstoppable...not sure if their is a Wave green,blue,yellow that can slow him down...
