Some strange lines in my opinion, as is noted in other posts...could be some "traps".

For instance, I would have thought Titans should be favored or a Pick vs. JAX. And Detroit -3 at least over Brownies...

Anyways, I have come up with a couple:

1. BILLS +10.5 - yes, I found the extra 1/2 point at www.Sportodds.com.au

Bills have traded most of their #1 Defense away over the last 2 years, and have lost Cowart. 3 new offensive linemen, and a QB who holds the ball too long even in the West Coast O...but have a tradition of playing the Colts tough. Total should be fairly high.

2. MINNESOTA -3 OVER BEARS

Too much "O" against a questionable secondary. Wet field will favor Moss and company, assuming O line can block a bit.

3, Detroit [pick] over Browns...

Cleveland still in expansion mode

4. 2 team TEASER:

San Diego +2.5 over Dallas [Flutie factor]
New England +8.5 over Jets [how can anyone pick a team named the Patriots right now]

5. 3 team teaser

Phoenix +17.5 [home doggie]
Miami +9 vs Raiders [Miami wins outright?]
Philly + 7.5 at Seattle [better team with a better QB and a better D]

6. Philly -2.5 at Seattle [see above]

7. OVER 44 MINN/CHI

Good Luck to all...IP

Re-cap

1. Bills [lost - bet with my heart and not with my head - el stupido...]

2. Minnie [lost - terrible game by the Vikings]

3. Detroit [lost - GO TY - go home that is - 7 interceptions???]

4. SD +2.5 won - SD is much improve on O with Flutie, a good running back, and decent receivers, always has a decent D]
NE +8.5 won [teaser won]

5. Phoenix +17.5 loss [fell apart after first quarter]
Miami +9 won - nice game by Fiedler
Philly +7.5 won [teaser loss] - Philly may have a D equal to Ravens

6. Philly -2.5 won

7. Minnie/Chi over loss

8. Minnie +6.5 loss
KC +11 won
SD + 6.5 won [teaser loss]

2-6 [ouch] Like many others on the board - Minnesota killed any chance at a decent day. First thought now is to just play the better teams in each match-up. I felt that San Diego was the easiest pick, but for some reason failed to play it, followed by Philly. Detroit is a mystery - are the Browns contending to be decent this year??

Buffalo is a fade or no play for me the rest of the year...they had the #1 D 2 years ago and #3 last year, but 8 of those players are gone now, replaced with no-names for the most part. And the Offense is starting 3 players who are for all intents and purposes, rookies. And Rob Johnson is not suited to the West Coast offense - bad coaching decision to try and force an offense to play a style for which they do not have the right kind of players. I would rather see them go back and try and play smash mouth run football, with the size of their line.

Sad to say, but this team will maybe not win more than 2 games, in my revised opinion. Initially, I thought an 8-8 season may be possible.

Head coach Williams will have his team in about 3 or 4 years, but Bills fans, be prepared for things to get worse before they get better. But it wont happen with Johnson at QB...

Monday - Redskins are very bad. Green Bay is OK, and have home field. I could see 38 - 21 GB in this game. I can also see 9-6, in a field goal contest. PASS [IP]
