Sunday: I have a feeling that Nolan Dalla is right and things will settle down a bit...but who knows. Here are some plays for today.

1. NFC Central 3 way Teaser: [Lost]

Bears +9 at Atlanta [W 31-3]
Vikings +9.5 at New Orleans [L 15-28]
Green Bay + 9 at Tampa Bay [W 10-14]

2. Tease: Ravens +3 and Under 40 [Won 26-7]

3. Tease: Bears +9.5 and San Diego +3
[Won 31-3 and lost 16-20]

4. Tease:
Tennesee +13.5 [lost 7-26]
San Diego +6.5 [won 16-20]
Bears +13.5 [won 31-3]

5. Ravens [money line] [won]

6. San Diego [money line] [lost]

7. Chicago [money line] [won]

8. Green Bay +3.5 at Tampa [lost]

9. Jets [money line] [won]

10. Tease: San Fran/Carolina Over 38 [push]
KC +17.5 [won]

Sunday thoughts:

1. Avoiding Redskins + Cowboys games. Too unpredictable today...

2. The Eagles have a defense the equvalent of the Ravens, in my opinion. Lean to UNDER in Eagles/Zona -

3. Browns have lots of injuries, and Flutie and San Diego Defense will keep this game close. Like S.D. in Teaser scenarios as well as straight up. Browns come off emotional upset of Jacksonville, and don't quite have the horses yet...

4. Cincy is improved, but the Steelers and Cordell Stewart have owned this series recently...stinky line???

5. Atlanta has played well so far, but will miss Jamal. Bears have a very under-rated defense, and I like the Bears to win outright and well as keep the score in high 20s or low 30s.

6. Bills are a DECIMATED team on both sides of the ball, and the special teams still are terrible. Bet against the Bills till further notice...Jets 23 - Bills 13 - but see the write up by Twofingers for solid UNDER analysis here.

7. I have played K.C. +17.5 on several teaser combos, but not listed them for the forum. Naturally hoping they play the Broncos tough...

8. George Seifort is 4-0 against his former team. This may turn out to be the best game of the day.

9. New Orleans in pay-back mode after being bounced by Vikes in last years play-offs. Do they have the team to do it ?? Vikes have, and will continue, to struggle on Offense, I believe...

10. Unbelievable line of the day...GREEN BAY is +3.5 at Tampa...based on games so far, it would seem the point spread is inverted...dangerous scenario...what do the linesmakers see here that we dont...

Nolans WHEEL:

I used Nolan's idea of "wheeling" a teaser, except I used Kansas City +17.5 instead of the CINCI - as the line had dropped to +4 instead of his +6. The K.C.line became available last night when the line changed at 5-Dimes from +10 to +11. It was close, but came through//////

So far, with San Fran/Carolina left tonight and the Monday night game to go, the record is 16-6.

Nolan's Wheel Update:

Using K.C. +17.5 the record stands at 19-7 with the Monday night game to go. I double the units on 2 plays, the Bears and Green Bay, so the play stands at 21-7. This bailed me out of a somewhat mediocre day otherwise...

Mondays games are STL -7.5 and DET +20.5...

Nolan's Wheel - final re-cap...

After Monday nights Rams win, the week-end was 20-8 for the "Wheel". I will be looking for a good side to tease this week, and right now I think San Diego or Green Bay may be worth considering using a 6.5 point teaser...both are playing good ball, and both coming off tough losses.

In fact, that might make a good 2 way play...

I will be in France for 10 days, so will miss this week-ends games and next.
