5-3 yesterday, record now 27-22-1. three for today:
syracuse -5-: cuse 9-1 fresh off home court whuppin' by glorious wolfpack (can you tell i'm a homer?) boeheim returned from prostate surgery to baste his boys at practice though won't return to game coaching until end of month. orange evidently practiced all week behind closed doors so got to believe focus will return today. tech just not very good this year though haven't been fully exposed yet by conference play. jackets also off of exams this past week at school where that means something. this game at phillips arena in downtown atlanta, not jacket homecourt @ alexander.
n arizona +17-: this line i feel a little high because of string of duck routs at home in early season. oregon now 4-3 after string of three close road losses brought them back to earth, however home court eased rebound with basting of pepperdine. n ariz an ncaa tourney team last year dropping out on five point loss to st johns. also played ore tough last year in flagstaff dropping two point decision. lumberjacks have a solid nucleus of returning lettermen and play decent defense. they'll need it today to stay within number - if they allow ducks the 90 or so they've been putting up at home this play goes down in flames.
tenn-martin +15: skyhawks a nice 6-1 losing only to big mo, start veteran team of four seniors and a junior. both team has exams this week so preparation handicaps equal. this game not a home game for ole miss, being played in southhaven, miss, just south of memphis.
