Today with not as many games to choose from, I only see a couple games that look appealing. They are:
Kentucky -7.5
I think this game will remain somewhat close until the final 6-8 minutes. The Wildcats are a much better team and are playing at an incredible level right now. What I like alot about Kentucky is they play fundamental basketball which I think makes all the difference in covering. They box out, play defense, and most importantly they shoot freethrows remarkably. Look for the Bulldogs to concentrate so much on Meeks that I feel this is the matchup where Patterson returns to his "A" game and delivers solid all around stats.
Iowa +13
I think the Hawkeyess are getting NO respect anymore from cappers and this line has got a little too high. Purdue is a great team and Mackey arena is a tough place to play, but Iowa has had a week to prepare for this game and are getting relatively healthy. I also think Purdue is looking past the Hawkeyes with its sight set on there game afterwards @ Minnesota. This seems like a letdown game to me. With Iowa getting healthy and playing sound defense I like what this translates into. The Boilermakers love the outside shot, which Iowa has been able to contain. If Tate plays I like the emotional boost as well. In any case think the Hawkeyes stay close.
That's all for now, but will look at a couple in the next few hours to see if anything stands out.
Good luck as always to everyone!
