1) Jacksonville (-8.5)
There is no reason that Cleveland should be able to hang around in this one. They still have gaps on both side of the ball and should get rolled.
2) Green Bay (-3.5)
Carolina's inexperienced secondary will be on their heels all day long. Favre should have no trouble picking them apart, Green has been great so far for them as well.
3) Tampa Bay (-2.5)
I'll take the superior defense with an adequate offense in this one. Tampa Bay has a huge edge in defense, while giving up little on offense. Minnesota lost Robert Griffith last week and they will have a tough time getting along without one of their best players. They were already very shaky on defense and they just got worse last week.
4) Oakland (-10)
Seattle's defense is atrocious and Oakland should have no problem racking up points against them. Oakland's defense is adequate in this one as they are able to stop the run, which is important against Seattle.
5) St Louis (-5.5)
Healthy offense, playing on home turf, much improved defense. I'll take them at under a touchdown.
6) Buffalo (+3)
Buffalo is not as bad as some people are making out. Pittsburgh has all kinds of problems on offense and will leave the defense on the field for too long. I'll take the home team and the FG.
7) New Orleans (+3)
I am still not convinced that this NY Giants team is going to do much of anything this season. New Orleans has a great defense and Aaron Brooks and Ricky Williams form a tough combo on offense. Their defense at least keeps this one close, I'll take the FG.
8) San Francisco (+3)
San Fran's defense is improved this year and the offense has shown they can still move the ball. The Jets have been inconsistent on offense and poor on defense. Jeff Garcia might put up some big numbers against these guys. Once again, I'll take the FG as a gift, looking for them to have a good shot at winning the game.
Opinions, input always appreciated. GL!
