A little color behind some of my plays today>>

SF -3 Gore has faired very well vs this team averaging 130 yards in 9 career games. Over the last three years, teams with a 100+ yd rushers are 5-0 su and ats in week 1. Sea is a mess right now (Gibbs OL coach quit yesterday). Realize that SF has not typically played the part of a stellar road favorite (2-6-1 since 02), but Singletary has this team believing. SF Def is continuing to improve and Vernon, Crabtree and Gore will prove to be too much. Think the Niners win more than 9 games this year and cut through their division and it starts today.

Clv +3 - The trends are against me here as Cleveland is 1-9-1 ats last 10 season openers, but today begins a new era. Ryan has this def flying around and the young draft picks are making an immediate impact. Really see the Browns getting Cribbs more in the mix (while playing his part on ST still of course) and Ben Watson will prove to be Delhomme's go-to. Clv has a good shot at starting this season 2-0 with KC on deck at home and know they need to take this one first in the Florida heat (92 and hot today - could play a part). DEf and special teams is the difference in this one. Close battle with the Browns walking away with the su win.

Chi/Det Over - Forte has faired well vs the Lions (only team he surpassed 100 yds on in 2009). Martz and Cutler look to get it going in front of a rowdy and ready Soldier Field crowd. 6' sure seems liek a lot of poitns to me, as i see Det moving the ball well and often too. Lowly Lions have shored up their D line, but i think Martz/Cutler keep the chains moving. On the Det side of the ball, they have some serious talent with Best, Calvin and Stafford, but it is Scheffler who i see causing problems for the Bear D today! Something has to give as the last 6 Bear openers have stayed under the number and the last 5 Det openers have sailed over. If Martz has his say, i know what kind of pace he would liek to see.. Last 5 openers Lions have given up an avg of 35 points. Chi has gone OVER at a 61% clip as a home favorite (55-36)..and 3 of the last 4 in this series have gone over and i see that continuing.
