It's been a hot topic of discussion all week long in Big D - Terrell Owens' dropped ball last week against the Washington Redskins.
Perhaps most shocking is the fact Owens is blaming no one but himself. Not Tony Romo. Not Drew Bledsoe. Not Bill Parcells. Only T.O.
"I take full responsibility for this loss," Owens said in reference to dropping the potential 74-yard touchdown that would have given the Cowboys a 14-point lead in the third quarter. "That's a play that I should make and I didn't make it and I feel bad. I honestly feel like I let the team down. I feel like this loss is on my shoulders."
Owens didn't back down from his miscues, and vowed to play better in the second half of the season, beginning Sunday at Arizona with the Cowboys trying to get back above .500 against the Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium (3:15 p.m. CST - Week 10 NFL odds).
"I'm not going to make any excuses," Owens said. "I should make those catches and I haven't. I'm not going to press. From here on out, I'll be a different person. I won't be standing here no more during the season saying I've lost the game."
Do you believe him? Yes or no, you can bet on it.
