YTD: 18-16-1 = -6.15 UNITS

interesting read from last nite's espn write-up:

Colorado rolled to a 5-0 blanking of the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday as Patrick Roy recorded his 53rd career shutout and Alex Tanguay scored twice in the first period.
Before the game, Colorado coach Bob Hartley reunited the NHL's most productive line from last season and got instant results. Joe Sakic, Tanguay and Milan Hejduk produced a combined 274 points last season and had six points against the Blue Jackets.

1) taking colorado ML -185 (2 units)

let's see if they can get the job done again today...Colorado seems to do well against non-divisional foes....

"...Quo fas et gloria ducunt..."
2) Vancouver ML +105 (1 unit)

after an embarrasing loss last nite...look for Vancouver to rebound and give a better effort this time around...
both teams on three game winless streaks...think that Vancouver has more incentive to cover tontie....
Anaheim goaltender Steve Shields is 2-4-1 with a 2.92 GAA. Shields has faced at least 40 shots on goal in his last two games.
Dan Cloutier shuold be in net tonite...shuold be a beter defensive battle.
