Going with Philly -126 tonight to start the season.
I don't necessarily like some of the batter-pitcher matchups of the Braves players vs Myers, but a lot of the numbers got inflated a bit from last year. Like Kelly Johnson who was 3 for 5 vs him last year, but prior was 0 for 12 and much the same for some of the other players.
When Myers faced them last year he was struggling the first time around early in the season and then faced them after he got hit hard prior to the 2nd start vs them...so confidence may have been low.
Really like the home/away numbers for Myers who's way more dominant at home even in the little Park at Philly...been like that his career especially last year. Lowe is opposite. He struggles a lot more on the road and I just think this early in the season that the home/away comfort level really will weigh at a bigger factor than some of the batter/pitcher machups.
Also Myers is much more dominant overall facing lefty bats and around half the line up from the braves will be from the left side.
