dodgers start their quest for 161-1 tomorrow.

under the lights:

braves pitcher derrek lowe has been sharp this spring. 26 innings pitched and 26 strikeouts to 2 walks. 26 hits is a bit of a concern, but ground ball pitchers this matters less as they induce more dps. bit of a personal revenge angle as the phillies got the best of lowe twice in the postseason last year although he could have won either game. one was a bullpen blow up and the other he lost 3-2.

myers hasn't looked bad either although the front office would be lying if they didn't want cole hammels on the bump tonights. he's gone 23 ips with 23 hits as well, but 6 walks. both pitchers seem ready for tonight.

lowe lifetime is 4-1 with a 3.02 era vs philly.

myers is 4-8 with a 4.6 against the braves.

i just think the phillies have less to play for and might have a big head after the ovation they will surely get. don't they get rings tonight as well? maybe not, but it just seems atlanta has much more to prove. Their big offseason aquisition and i hated the dodgers losing him, gets the start and after a decade or so of excellence and 3 or 4 years of obscuirty, the braves want to say "we're back" on national tv.

braves + 121 x 2

long season....enjoy.....go blue

Absolutely love the Reds this season. Love Cueto in his sophmore year, Volquez is a stud, and just need a bounce back from Harang.

Votto is the best unheralded player in bases, Phillips is a gem at 2nd.

The only thing holding them back is their manager. Loved him as a player, no respect as a skipper.

Cubs/Schmubbs.....why are they the favorite for that division. My personal feeling is that it's the Reds to lose.

The dodgers one loss will be to the padres tomorrow of course.

:00hour

yeah, Dusty is an absolute disaster as a Skipper--he will cost a team at least 5 wins a season. Loved watching him play, though...
