The difference between a good capper and a bad capper is the ability to tell the difference between "what should happen" AND "what can really happen"...

With that being said the Steelers are no lock tomorrow morning. There anything but that!

You can't mess with these numbers!

New England vs. a +10 line this year would have been 16-2! Out of those two losses the margins were 17 and 11.

Pittsburgh vs. a -10 line was 7-9-1!

More unavoidable goodies...

Sure! Pitt has a nasty D, but what about N.E.??? They've allowed 10 points a game over their last three!

A team is only as hot as their last few games!

Lastly...Bettis is coming back. He's a good back but this team is better with Amos. Call me nuts but it's true.

I hate the Pats but tomorrow I anticipate that they will be paying for my brewskies! :)

(And MLB Extra Innings!)

Good luck to all!

Please allow me to remind you those last 3 opponents were Miami, Carolina, and the Snow Bowl of the Year. The game before that was Buffalo who scored 9 pts. Against these opponents I can't see any reason to place a lot of value in that PPG average. No disrespect just my opinion, comments welcome.

Good info Kevin.

I also think that Pitt has been successful over the past few weeks by mixing the speed of Amos and then running MF up the middle. That mix also helped when they ran the deception plays.

With Bettis back, I expect that Pitt may go a bit more conservative (a big mistake) trying to get the Bus back into the flow.

By no means is Pitt a better team without Bettis but, I think his return today may be disruptive for, at least, the first half.

Also, take a look at last weeks game. Pitt was perfect in the first half and had the benefit of Elvis handing them all the breaks. In the second half, Kordell showed a few signs of his past and the offense was not nearly effective.

I think we see the Pitt team of the 2nd half last week in the first half this one.

I've got 10 in my pocket. I think the game will be very close at the half and there may be some great middle opportunities taking Pitt for the 2nd half.

good luck
