Boston Coll/Syracuse UNDER 143
St Joes/Temple OVER 139

Also like Loyola-Chi. laying 3 over a WiscGB team who could let down after a tough 1 pt win over conference monster Butler. Loyola had an easy time winning by over 25. Also taking Niagra laying the 4 as Canisius is coming off OT upset win and may have nothing in the tank today.

Thanks for your total plays. You're usually right on or not too far off. At the least, your posts make me reconsider what I might be thinking about playing. I was writing the Fla/Ky under off at half, went out, came back and checked the score and about fell out of my chair. Thanks again...

Unicorn--

I still can't believe the Fla/Kent game came in. They were scoring 5 pts a minute for most of the first half. I actually turned the game off late in the first half and went to the store. I come back home and turn the game back on and I couldn't believe the score. They must've exhausted themselves.

Other games:
My numbers say under on the Duke/N Caro game. I don't bet Duke under often but they've raised the numbers on them so there's no value on the over here. Plus they should destroy North Caro so they'll work the clock a bit in the 2nd half and no foul-a-rama. I'm probably passing the Kansas/Mizzou game even though I have a slight edge to the under. Missouri figures to be within striking distance, so there's a good chance of foul-a-rama and Kansas will probably keep the tempo fast all game.

Adding one more: Illinois/Minnesota UNDER 143.5 (Canbet)

Another one of those plays where you look at the number and say "what are they thinking"? Minnesota has been under 133 in their last 5 games. They had a 4 game period where they were in the 160s but that was a while ago. Illinois has been under 143.5 in their last 8 games now. Big Ten plays have been going under mostly anyways; looks like a no-brainer.

I think the Duke UNDER may have some value.......Duke will slow game down in the 2nd half and string out the clock.....but defense will still be intense.......

I am going to wait til halftime to get on it though......

This Kansas game should have been set at 200 for a total........I got it at 168 and that was a steal

Thanks for your call on the BC/SYR, I got down in time to win the second half.

Also looks like we got lucky with the St Joe's game. Thanks for that one too.

Valuist,

You da man. I noticed a bit how some teams tend to play it close to the vest in the 2H this last week. Thus the games come in under even though 1H was over.

Do you have any thoughts on VA/MD total? I thought 166 was just about right.

thanks

As I was saying, 3 for 3. Last couple of years I remember the conference tournies semi and finals hitting under. Combination of fatigue and more pressure I would think. I know you have to see the numbers but do you have any opinions going into the conf. tourneys?

I just did projections for two games tomorrow that will be totalled:

NC-Wilm/Va Common my total: 132
Southern Ill/Creighton my total: 147

There will be a total on the West Coast Conf game also. You'd have to think it will be the Zags and Pepperdine although the Zags are struggling as I write this.
