Just wanted to post my plays and add some thoughts on some posts I read earlier. Yesterday I took the Eagles and Oakland for a nice 2-0 day. That was yesterday though, and I am ready for a fun Sunday!

First off, not a pro cpper like many in this forum so take my post as you will. I like home teams in playoff games. To me there was zero doubt Philly was going to win and no doubt Oakland would win yesterday. Philly was THE play yesterday and I loved Oakland with the Jets flying soo much, just playing each other last week and the fact Oakland was hungry to play them again!

Baltimore +(3.5) at Miami

I just bet this game and took the fish. Why? Home team first. Second, I think Miami LB's and DB will stop anything Grbac wants to do. The key is to stop Shannon Sharpe! Baltimore has no RB's worth mentioning! Also, last year Lamar Smith was a terror in the playoffs. He pretty much was terrible all year (except week #1, #2 & 17) and I think he plays well today. Only concern is the health of Chambers who is expected to start. I see the fish beating the Ravens Db's on many play action passes. Also, isnt it true that the fish went 7-1 at home this year? Last note, Ravens coming off a short week playng Monday night. Gotta go w/ the dolphins. This game is hard to cap, and I think alot of whacky stuff will happen. Just hope the ball bounces more in Miami's favor

Miami -3.5 is my play

San Fran (+3.5) vs Green Bay

No brainer...Gotta go GB here! Again, home team first! Lambeau will be cold...not freezing but cold and rocking!! Yes, Garcia has tons of experience playing in the cold, but I cant say the same for the rest of the team! Also, didn't San Fran just loose to Dallas badly? Why is this team getting so much props? Their D should get beat all over the field and has the same problems against the pass as they did the beginning of the year! Ahmnan Green has been a monster, and I expect him to have a huge game. That will allow Brett to pick apart SF weak secondary for at least 1 long score to Schroeder. Yes, Owens will score at least once, so I like the over as well! I see GB putting up high 20's low 30's and SF getting around 20! I envision a 31-20 game in favor of the Pack w/ SF scoring 1 garbage td late! GB rolls and goes over! Lastly, I have a few friends who are "mushes" who like SF which doesnt hurt

Gb -3.5 is my play
GB over 40.5 is my play

Final note, heard many peolpe talk about wagers at Vegas sportsbook for large dollar amounts. I have heard about this happening for the Superbowl, but no idea about the regular playoffs. Had no idea someone could not bet a large amount of cash without a problem! One of my good friends saw someone walk up to a Sportsbook (old texan in boots, big belt and long mustache) with a briefcase & wager 100K for the Superbowl 2 or 3 years ago! Was this B.S.? I figured Vegas would be glad to take that bet as long as they could hedge it? Good luck to you all tody and may the "force" be with us!!
