Almost perfect in the Ivy this weekend; missed 2H cover on Penn when Yale hit a couple of "lucky" 3s in final :30 -- a bank shot by Gamboa and an NBA 3 by Minoff. (C note -- sorry)
Rider/Fairfield Over 59.5 1H
Fairfield held Rider to just 40 points in last match-up; Broncs couldn't figure out how to beat Stags pressure D, shooting just 32% in 1H and only 16% in 2H. That was the lowest point total scored by Rider since 1991 and was especially embarassing because it was in front of their home crowd...Rider has had a week to prepare and should come out fast.
Even with the poor shooting in last outing, teams combined for 55 in 1H (Fairfield led 33-22).
Fairfield playing well and scoring too.
