Feels like a good day to eat some chalk

Grizzlies

The Hornets are 1-7 SU (-11.4 ppg) and 3-5 ATS since the 2010 season after a home loss as a favorite when playing on the road as a dog. The Hornets are 2-18 SU (-11.3 ppg) and 6-13-1 ATS since the 2009 season as a road dog after a game in which they scored 10 or less points than expected.

Since 2009, the Grizzlies are 16-4 SU and 14-6 ATS when playing as a home favorite vs. a divisional opponent. When the Grizzlies are playing as a home favorite in the first game of a back-to-back and their next game is on the road, they are 15-0 SU (+10.3 ppg) and 10-5 ATS since the 2010 season. After a game in which the Grizzlies held opponents to 10 or less points than expected, they are 18-3 SU (+9.3 ppg) and 13-8 ATS since the 2010 season as a home favorite.

The Grizzlies have scored over 100 points in their last two games, and the Hornets have allowed their opponents to score 100 or more in their last four games. When the Grizzlies are playing an opponent that has allowed over 100 in their last two games, and they scored over 100 in their last game, as a home favorite they are 13-1 SU (+10.9 ppg) and 9-5 ATS since the 2009 season. This season when the Grizzlies score over 100 as a home favorite, they are 8-0 (+12.2 ppg) and 7-1 ATS. The Grizzlies have averaged 103.7 points in the last six at home vs. the Hornets. The Grizzlies are 13-0 SU (+14.3) and 12-1 ATS this season when they score more than 100 points.

After the Pacers loss, Mike Conley talked about how the team had to start picking up their offensive pace and push the ball more, and they have succeeded in the last two games, averaging 93 shot attempts which is 10 over their season average, and one of these games was against the slowest paced team in the league (Brooklyn). Lionel Hollins: ?We've talked about it. We've tried to practice faster ... I think our guys are comfortable playing any style. It bodes better for the inside players when the pace is slower. But for the overall group to be more effective we need to pick up the pace. ? It's almost like this is the identity that our team is trying to develop.?

Teams playing in a regular season game as a home favorite between 6 and 9 points, when the total is under 180 are 16-2 SU (-12.2 ppg) and 12-6 ATS in the last 18.

Grizzlies -7.5 x2
Mavericks -7

Good luck...

Thanks addict - no owing though, I tailed a lot of your football plays this season! I never have locks or perfect plays, but I try to dig up whatever info I can to help out.

Hawkeye - have not seen or heard from him in a long time.

Well, that Grizzlies game could not have been farther from how I capped it. Great defense by Hornets.

Didn't help that Conley got knocked out of the game for the Grizzlies.

Didn't know that - was out and didn't watch, but yea, I'm sure that didn't help much, with the Grizzlies lack of bench. OK, now I feel a little less dumb - thanks!
