Illi scares me ..I have a a prop bet with Ohio St winning the B-10 but damn this Illi teams is really really good. I said I wasn't go to hedge the play but the closer it gets to jump ball I'm leaning towards it In Philly with my daughter and seeing my grandkids going to AC for the march madness and then off to Texas on Monday.
Was so impressed with the zoo.. and where my daughter lives in Fairmont everyone is abiding by the mask law. My son in laws company constructed the Piazza so we ate there yesterday and got to play with my 2 grand sons in their play ground.
This morning walked to Petes on Fairmont for breakfast. there were 6 old ladies sitting at a table having breakfast next to my table. They were watching the flat screen TV with ESPN on. One asked " who is this lunardi there talking about I knew a Lunardi in HS". I started laughing to myself when one of the ladies explained who Joe Lunardi was and how he was predicting the seeds in the NCAA tourney. She then said this is for the NCAA tournament. Another lady said " is Temple in it". and then the original lady said " no,they were eliminated. And villanova best player isn't playing, he got hurt. Another said " I Like that Villanova coach,he is so handsome"
I was laughing to myself on how knowledgeable these old ladies were.
There isn't is a diner in the US that could have 6 old ladies discussing basketball at 7.30 am at breakfast but in Philadelphia. As I got up to pay the check I asked them " how are the Phillies going to do this year"? One lady who had said nothing in the morning discussion said to me " they need pitching" As I payed my bill and walked out I thought " damn that was the right answer ".
anyway its a little colder here then Texas but loving Philly.. went to Rivers casino and won big with iona and North Texas .. you take care, wear your mask and if you ever want info on the NCAA 's there are 6 old ladies sitting right behind the bar having breakfast. good luck this week with your plays , going to capp the bonnies now Lofton is unreal for them
