UCLA v. Bama has been exciting to watch so far. But for the score, I would be enjoying the excitement.
Moving forward, my reason for playing USC bigger than usual is thus:
If you have seen the movie Two For the Money, you may recall that it was loosely based on the life of a sports handicapper. Well, earlier today I purchased access to picks from the real-life handicapper. His name is Brandon Lang. I paid extra to actually speak w/ the guy. He seems really cool! He told me that the Trojans are "the lock of the century!" No need to thank me. Good luck guys! JK. I don't know & don't care who that guy favors here.
FWIW - I simply think that USC provides a matchup problem for the Ducks, specifically 7-foot tall Mobley. Although I admittedly did not watch it, I did check the box score of their prior meeting back on February 22nd--approximately 5 weeks ago. It appears that USC clearly handled the Ducks in that game, winning 72-58. They were up11 @ the half. Mobley did not even come close to his average 16.5 ppg, going 5-7 from the field for 11 points. I noticed that SC also controlled the boards outrebounding the Ducks by 10.
While I recognize Eaddy will most likely not come close to the lights out shooting performance he enjoyed back in February, I believe that the Trojans will prevail in one way or another. The game tonight should be much closer than the one in February, but not close enough. We shall see how it plays out. Just my opinion obviously. I have no special insight as to the outcome
