Royals need to win to avoid getting swept by the Twins. Francisco Liriano makes his 1st start in 19 months today, but he was 0-1 with a 7.56 era in 2 starts in the minors, one start in A Fort Meyers and one in AAA Rochester. I don't think he's ready but was called up early due to Slowey getting put on the 15 day DL. Coaches would of liked Liriano to have at least one more minor league start. Bannister has pitched well in 2 games beating the Tigers and Yankees. Bannister is 2-0 with a 2.05 era in 3 starts vs the Twins. Let's cash this in today!
