StockJock,
After Ohio State's fast start which IMO was NOT a hard schedule they have cooled off. Yes Ohio St has 11 wins but lets look closer at who they have beaten.

E. Illinois
UNC Greensboro
Purdue
Iowa (a good win)
UMass
Northwestern
Penn St
Indiana (Very good solid win)
Michigan
Northwestern
and.. Illinois (AP likes em alot but there just not that good)

Ohio State has dropped there last two on the road @ Wiscosin and @ Minnesota. The key to Ohio State in this game is Brent Darby. I just cant see this coming to a packed house at MSU and playing as well as they do at home. OSU 1-3 ATS in there last 4

Michigan State : Is just the opposite, after a VERY SLOW start dropping 4 of 5 to open the season and going 0-5 ATS. Since then they have managed to start playing consistently winning 4 of 6 and going 5-1 ATS. There last loss was against Northwestern but was without Marcus Taylor who was out of the game with a concussion. This will be a great matchup with Taylor and Darby this whole game. Michigan State leads the Big Ten in rebounding margin +9.1 rpg so I see many more shots opportunities and a pumped up crowd has me liking them winning by 12

Other stats....

Ohio State has lost seven straight at MSU since 1992.
How Taylor and Darby go, so go their teams right now. Taylor is a fluid penetrator who can shoot threes off screens or off the dribble, a skill rarely seen anymore. Without him, Michigan State lost 61-49 at Northwestern on Wednesday. Darby is all quickness and power, tough to deny when he wants to get in the lane and a threat for three if his defender backs off him. He has scored 70 points in the Buckeyes' last three games.

Furthermore Oklahoma State will be without stud point guard Maurice Baker who was quite instrumental in State big win over Texas Tech. He had a team-high 19 points including the first 11 of the second half to lead the Pokes to victo! ry.

His presence will be sorely missed especially considering that Oklahoma State has failed in three consecutive road games SU.

Definitely feel that New Orleans will ....

cover and most likely win SU. Could be the most overlooked game of the day. GL:D

hope the public is all over Denver and it looks like the line might be moving more in our favor, maybe we can get 4 by game time:eek:

Teddy:
Does that injury affect your play on Okie St.? Also, what do you think of Richmond today? Thanks and good luck today.

actually, they made their run after Baker went down.......Sutton went to a press and Tech gave up the game....

I agree doc, as for Ok St, I'll still like them minus Baker. The public is pushing this line more and more but ... this was taken from Tomoco's site (dont wanna get bashed for copying and pasting without giving credit :))

Cowboys - Both teams appear to be heading south. Ok State, 3-4 SU L7 and have lost L3 away games. Fresno on a 4 game losing streak. The big difference in this game for me is that Fresno hasn't won since since star guard Jeffries went down with an injury and have lost to below average talent. They were recently creamed by Rice, HC-Jerry Tarkanian initially called it the lowest point of his seven-year tenure at his alma mater, later retracted and softened. Star C-Ely playing poorly of late. OKSt also will be without their star guard, Maurice Baker who was injured in last game. Difference is that Cowboys have the depth to overcome his absence. In game he was injured, team was able to overcome 15-pt deficit and pull out win over a ranked TTech. Cowboys still have the talent and Fresno should be hard pressed for a win in this spot even on their home court.

Shats, I like Richmond as well as many other cappers in here. I'm going to pass on the game though. I have a lot loaded up on Mich St and Ok St and want to let it go with them.

Adding...

Syracuse/Pitt Over 70.5 2H

The FH Under and 2H over trend is hitting pretty well and look for it to continue in the second half. They scored 62 in the first half but had 40 something with 4 minutes to go, but sloppy play saved my first half play. Look for Pitt to try to run it in the second half.
