Good night last night as both LSU and Eastern Washington came in. . . would have ended up even better if I had eliminated all of my small plays and simply played my top picks but that's something I have always needed to work on.

Anyways, let's play a game:

Imagine if you will that you lost a ton of money yesterday. . . you simply couldn't pick your nose: NFL plays came up losers, NCAA hoops came up losers, hell, you couldn't even pick a sure halftime winner in the NBA. So you wake up on Sunday ready to win it all back on one game. You take a look at the board and need a sure winner. You scroll down the page. . . NFL lines look fairly tight, but you might bite on the Jets ML as they have been hot lately on this will get you some of your money back (but this is for the NFL forum). . . but then you see the NCAA lines. . . oh my God. . . a sure winner. Just right there. Pitt should be a double digit favorite no question right? I mean c'mon they're a ranked team and they have only lost one game all year so far. Sure Rutgers is ok, but this has money written all over it. . . no way Pitt loses to a team like Rutgers who isn't even ranked.

Taking Rutgers +7.5 big
Rutgers ML +275 small

Still looking at others like Notre Dame laying 15.5. . . but I may just stick with this one. GL all!

Good Luck Nickel, looks like it's you, me and Steel City against the Board with Rutgers. Conference Home Dogs were on fire yesterday--hopefully one more will hit

Adding a small play on West Virginia +17.5. . . Georgetown should dominate on the boards which is a concern of course, but just how motivated is this team going to be to blow out West Virginia??? Coming off their loss to Duke. . . a game they lost in the 2nd half. . . I think they come out a little flat and end up winning by 12.

Only concern is FG percentage of West Virginia. . . but I guess this is why they call it gambling. . . I think they shoot well enough to cover this spread.

Here I go with some more small plays. . . probably a good idea to fade my small plays, go with my on my big plays.

Anyways, a small play on the Zags laying 11. . . I think Pepperdine folds on the road in a similar fashion as they did at BYU. Also, three straight road games coming in to this one. . .might be a little home sick

Just a small play.

I was with you on Rutgers, we were very lucky to win. Rutgers didnt foul with 17 seconds left and let Pitt run out the clock down by 7.

Well, I'll definitely take that win on the hook with Rutgers. . . Pitt played well and that 3 pointer with 2 minutes to go was the momentum killer as far as Rutgers and their chances of winning the game.

Congrats to those who were able to get +7.5

GMoney,

We were lucky, but I still feel on the right side no matter what. . . Rutgers was right with them until the final minutes. . . unfortunately very difficult to predict what exactly will happen those final minutes, but we certainly deserved that one IMO. Also, Pitt started hitting free throws like they make them all the time. . . what happened with the 50%?!?!?!

At least they missed the one that counted for us!

Final play for the night:

Taking Duke/Wake over the total 164.5

Both teams should run the floor. . . think the line is about right because Wake really hasn't played anybody to Duke's level. Still, I expect a lot of offense, little defense.

Nickelback, if I may, agree on the over but don't you think, "Joe public", sees a team 10-0 and getting 10 pts. Man I think Duke destroys WF tonight.
Many folks saw Pepperdine +11, rivalry game, blah, blah and even though it's late in the 1st half and far from over, the Zags are killing them. No KOD I hope.
Thanks for your input today. Everything is falling in to place nicely.

I do agree Nole. . . the points look mighty tasty in this one. . . but for me, there are too many questions. How good is this Wake Forest team really? Is Duke really THAT dominant??? Also, I think I have enough small plays going today that I don't really need another!
