I was reading a newspaper article earlier in the week which said that this season 25 out of 29 games (86%) have been won by the team leading at half time.
Whilst this percentage may be higher than normal it does make the halftime/fulltime doubles offered at some books such as Centrebet worth consideration as it does add plenty of value to the odds.
For example this week:
Otago are $1.30 to win but are $1.63 for the halftime/fulltime double
Hurricanes are $3.40 to win but are $6.00 for the halftime/fulltime double
Blues are $1.70 to win but are $2.45 for the halftime/fulltime double
Sharks are $2.10 to win but are $3.10 for the halftime/fulltime double
