HURRICANES vs CATS

Both teams are free of any major injuries.
The Hurricanes blew away the Sharks last week, while the Cats offered only a slight improvement in going down by over twenty points in New South Wales.

The Cats defensive is simply awful at the moment, which has led to them conceding 179 points already this year. They did show an improvement against the Waratahs last week, but were still defeated by over twenty points. The Hurricanes showed what they were capable of in defeating the Sharks, but they are very inconsistent and are quite simply the most frustrating team in Super 12 considering their talent. The question is here....can we trust the Hurricanes?? The Cats have failed with a big points start in their three previous away games. With their defence in tatters, we can trust that the likes of Lomu, Cullen and co can wreak havoc. Hopefully the game can provide us with a good start to Round Five!

1 POINT WIN-HURRICANES (-15) at 5/6 with Coral Eurobet;)

BULLS vs HIGHLANDERS

The Bulls make one change from the team that battled so bravely against the Brumbies, with Danie Rossouw returning to the back row. All Black Carl Hoeft returns at prop for the visiting New Zealanders.
The Bulls stunned everyone in losing by only ten points to the Brumbies last week. A Tony Brown inspired kicking display meant the Highlanders impressively beat the Stormers last week.

The Bulls showed the kind of fighting spirit badly needed in scoring six tries against the Brumbies. However they were poor defensively and lost the game. The Highlanders are heavily reliant on the boot of Tony Brown and if the Bulls score tries then who knows??? However, I cannot trust the Bulls to put in a repeat performance although it would be no surprise. I have came real close to backing the Bulls with a eighteen point start, but it is the Bulls after all!!

NO PLAY :nono:

Season so far 3/1 +5.34pts

4   plays for me this week:

Hurricanes-Cats no play

Bulls - Highlanders - 3pts Highlanders (-12) 5/6 Bet Direct - they were last up with their prices and have managed to throw up the best price :) taking a chance the the Highlanders score a bit more freely this week, but to me the Stormers are way superior to the Bulls, who still let in 45 pts last week despite a close-ish scoreline.

Blues-Chiefs - 2pts Chiefs (+13) 1/1 Coral - think the Blues are overrated so I'll take that start.

Waratahs-Sharks - 4pts NSW (-20) Blue Sq - a lot to give away I know but hopefully they won't let up late on like last week

Stormers - Brumbies - 1pt Stormers (+10) 9/10 VC - bit speculative + I'm glad Anders agrees!!

Best of luck to all
