Seeing as everyone else seems to be asleep
I'll kick off
Highlanders v Hurricanes: 3pts Highlanders (-8) 5/6 Coral, Stan James, VC.
Prepared to give the Highlanders another chance after last weeks balls-up
. Back at Carisbrook and playing against a side whom I'm still not convinced are fully into this competition. Taking 2 formlines literally (home to Cats HL W by 32, HC W by 9 and away at Stormers HL won by 1, HC lost by 27), and with home advantage I expect them to cover well
Crusaders v Bulls: 1 pt Crusaders (-30) 9/10 bet365.
Not going mad here would usually fancy the Crusaders to cover easily, but they are resting a few players, including Mehrtens, and it's a lot to give away + rembering that the Bulls scored 35 v the Brumbies - tread easily
Reds v Stormers: 2pts Stormers (+16) 9/10 VC
The start has persuaded me here, Stormers look clear best SA side, Reds have had a difficult set of games so far but are only averaging 25pts a match. Stormers have matched them so far form wise + I hope in a tough match the 16pts will do
Sharks v Blues : 5pts Blues (-2) 5/6 Stan James, Blue Sq
A max bet for me + nap material
!
One firm here put this up as pick 'em but were filled in v.quickly
not by me sadly, I fancied this one anyway . The Sharks only hope is home soil boosting their game - 4 20pt+ beatings away at some decent sides must have taken its toil, and given how lucky the Waratahs were to keep the gap to 2 last week it would be very disappointing if the Blues can't cover by 3 here.
The clincher is the Team news - Captain Andrews is out, plus several other usual starters, not what you need when the team is in disarray anyway. I can see this line moving by KO time:brows:
Will post on other game tomorrow night
Best of luck to all
