An Art As It Is A Science.
I don't think I can stress enough the importance of bankroll management. It's a subject that every frequent gambler wrestles with. Now just because it's the Super Bowl,we have to stay focused, it's only one game.We cannot risk worst-case scenario events occuring, the loss of the majority of our bankroll, simply because of the domination of the days' hype.
The number of articles, books, and systems devoted to money management that exist leads us to two conclusions:
1. It's an extremely important concept, and
2.Nobody has really mastered it yet, theories ranging from progressions to regressions, to basing a wager onhow much one wants to win.
If you don't have some kind of disciplined approach to betting, you won't ever make it as a gambler. Assuming you are a decent handicapper, you have only one option and that's to find a comfort level- a position in life that allows you to accept a loss without getting an ulcer and appreciate a win without fanfare or back-slapping.
It's not enough to pick winners. You must have an intelligent method for betting them if you want to last in this game. And the Super Bowl is only ONE GAME,so we do not need to get more creative or risk more than necessary.
Simply stated, use your head first before you make you bet.
Best of luck and enjoy your Super Sunday.........Spanky......
