3.MSU 3-5 on road SU, 1-5 SU last six road games

5.Ill. averaging 85 ppg at home, MSU 67 PPG on road
6.MSU has just 7 healthy schollie players, Ill. is getting back to full health

I also think this is a big game for Illinois to prove they arent the huge bust that people think. They have struggked lately and it is time to take frustrations out.

As for public perception, Illinois just got pounded b-to-b games as a 1 pt dog both times. Meanwhile, MSU is coming off a beatdown of Mich and 4 straight covers. So why is the line so high? Cuz it is going to be a blowout IMO.

I totally agree with you. I've been waiting to make this play ever since the Illini lost to Ohio St. After two road losses in a row I forsee the Illini really taking it out on their arch rival michigan st at home. This one should be a blow out and i will be throwing down big money on Illinois.

wow, Illinois looks like the most heartless bunch of underachievers in quite a while. For every bit as good as thisplay looked, it was never close

Frank Williams sauntered around all day like he was playing pickup, Brdford was 0-fer-the world form 3 range, and they let a team with no depth or experience beat them at home. Hell, MSU didnt even have Taylor for most of the game and theother guys were in foul trouble. Just their 2nd road win all year, and Ill's first home loss in 28 games. I think Self is a good coach but his guys looked unmotivated and disorganized today.

And this is the team that was supposed to be a final four contender?

I went with Michigan st today because if you all watched Illinois against Ohio st & Indiana in their last 2 games, they are absolutely pathetic!!!

Against Ohio st........Illinois shot only .373 FG % and only .176% 3pters.

Against Indiana.......Illinois shot only .365 FG% and only .167% 3pters.

Even my little cousin can shoot a better % from the 3pt line.
