First, I should state that I am an Eagles fan. However, I have capped this game without bias ( I think). It should be a close game, with a FG deciding the outcome.

On Defense for the Eagles, I think that it boils down to whether or not their corners can cover the NE wide-outs 1 on 1. I think Johnson knows the key will be to stop Dillon on 1st down. He will commit to doing that and leave the corners exposed. IMO the corners will be able to do the job and keep the NE offense in check.

On the other side of the ball, I think Bellichek will scheme to take Westbrook out of the game. Reid knows this too. So it will be interesting to see how the Eagles get the ball in his hands. Donavan needs to be conservative early and make no mistakes. I think he will eventually make enough things happen to score enough points for the Eagles win.

My prediction; Eagles 20-17

Playing 3x on the Eagles +7 (I will search for the hook thru my 3 local outs on Sunday).
2x Under48
1x Eagles ML

Pro bowlers or not, you can't cover NE's Wrs with Brady throwing the ball. On the other side of the ball I just can't imagine the Eagles scoring. McNabb does not hold a candle to Brady, and that's coming from a huge SU fan that likes McNabb. Some of the throws he was making against Atl were awful, and Atl pass defense stinks. Eagles will be lucky to score 17 and they will be lucky to keep the Pats from scoring 27. Good luck, but I just don't see the Eagles, an NFC team, winning the Superbowl, it would be amazing, but not impossible. Good luck. And you can't cap your team it just doesn't work that way. But what else are you going to do? Take the Pat? Yeah right. Your best bet is just to watch the game, that's what I did in the SU NCAA title game and it paid off. I think it is a jinx to bet your own team.

I have never been so bummed out to win 4 units....

McNabb made some key mistakes. :cursin: I thought the Eagles squandering their early chances really cost them. Also felt they were too stubborn with their blitzes in the 2nd half. Just wasn't working. NE made adjustments in 2nd half, Eagles didn't. Hope its not another 24 years till we get back.
