That’s a top play. Is it a homer pick? would you play them large if you weren’t a fan ? I’m leaning eagles too.
I’m sure feather is on fly eagles fly also.

I can’t see how the kc d can stop eagles. The eagles o line is bad ass and the kc secondary is all rookies. Lol. They will run it down their throat then find smith and brown open down field all day. Mahomes will get his but no way they will keep up with this eagles offense with that d. Jones will get nothing against Johnson and Dickerson.

And so, given that, and the fact that Mahomes is hobbled, shouldn't this line be more than only Eagles -2 ?

Not sure slum, I'm definitely a big Iggles fan so hard to separate, and i love their brand of football.. and its the super bowl so i was going to bet them no matter what. They have had remarkable improvements at all positions from last season has put them in this spot, they are a complete team. Been sounding the alarm to everyone about how good they are as a team for many weeks. Watched for weeks many members refer to them as frauds etc, and I pointed out specifically what is special about them in previous threads. I've saw that some of these members started backing them and that was my intent, to help the board. I thought the line might move to 3 , didn't realize it opened at KC -2 and moved rapidly so I put my first $500 down. They are healthy and deep at all positions. Everyone focuses too much on disparaging Hertz but he plays within the framework of their offense and has much improved from last season. He is still hurt though , but hoping he can lay it all out against KC than go to the operating room. Offensive line starters all going to play, its a big deal that Landen Dickerson is going. Layne Johnson has been playing injured and still hasn't given up a sack since 2020... Kelce is amazing center. Think the Eagles have a strong combo of secondary coverage plus pressures on QB, and will be able to run against the Chiefs and Jalen had been good with the deep ball. KC I could say a lot of great things as well, Mahommes is special, top QB along with Burrows. But I think he will picked at least once if he gets too fancy against this team and I think the pressure will make a difference over time. Eagles are susceptible over the middle short and deep, so Kelce will have another big day. Their safety Reed Blankenship plays hard as an undrafted player but is their weakest link, he can get beat over the top, so this concerns me, Jalen won't win in a shootout unless they are gashing them in the run game , which I doubt, though I think they will get good yardage . If Jalen can take care of the ball and successfully run their offense think they can win by 4-7, more if they can pile on hits against Mahommes, and not get burnt in the process. Good luck!

Not with Mahommes and his incredible accuracy and success in huge games, all games for that matter.... Jalen still has a lot to prove. Chiefs are sexier than the Eagles, the Eagles are more complete team. but if Mahommes can make more plays under more pressure and Jalen goes in a funk and missed his passes and deep balls than might be the Chiefs,. The line is accurate,

Given how complete a team everyone thinks the Eagles are, coupled with the Mahomes injury and the hobbled KC wide receivers, I personally would have made this line 3.5. Your own right up more than justifies it.

But if you are Vegas you are worried that the 3.5 brings the world onto KC. They don't want to be holding their breath for the Eagles to cover that number for the largest betting day of the year. They threw out KC -2 and quickly reacted to Eagles' love or are fucking with everyone to reel in Iggles cash. Who knows.. 3.5 would be way too dangerous to throw out there .

Oh, I agree it would be dangerous. I just think that it is the "correct" line here.

Herm Edwards summed up it today..

Chiefs either play 11 on 11 w/the one of the backs coming down to handle Hurts or play their normal defense and watch the Eagles offense play 11 on 10

Much like what the 49ers tried to do with Boza being responsible for pass rush and contain and it didn't work.

We shall see ..ya gotta pack 4 TD's in that Az. bound suitcase anyway you cut it!

hope your recovery is quick.

With two first round picks in draft, the Eagles will come out of this ok

that fumble for the TD by Hurts turned the tide. but most rushing yds, Passing 300+ yards, converts 4 fourth downs with his legs, and scores 3 TDS how can you knock the guy

Congrats on your victory Scott! That game was a soul crusher for me. Never like losing money , but I wanted them to close and bring home another super bowl. The fumble hurt indeed but he bounced back and was outstanding and boy is he going to get paid off. Really proud the way they all handled themselves post game, they all took responsibility and didn't blame the ticky tac call by the ref or the field conditions, although both impacted the game. Neither side could get to the qb's which i think was due to the field conditions, they couldn't cut , so both teams ran straight up angles to rush. I felt the eagles pass rush would have been a difference maker if they could have gotten Mahommes down a couple times to kill drives. They were outplayed, outmuscled, and out coached in the 2nd half, recurring nightmare of capturing the edges in both run and pass and moving the chains over the middle short passes. Mahommes was a top notch surgeon playing perfect football. The Eagles had no answer as I watched in horror...:scared Anyway, I've accepted the day and am doubling down harder winning my Monday business day! I hate losing, and will never accept it, but it happens to us all, and we all can get better from it or give into it.
I am truly glad you finished strong , I've always enjoyed your posts and confidence, and Fried Chicken!!:0074
