Hi All, It's been quite awhile since I visited MadJack's. Mainly cuz I decided in Feb. to take a break from betting. I was dabbling in Hoops (which I had never bet before) and at first, was doing pretty good. Then I started losing Bigtime so I thought I give it a break. Figured if I was gonna be giving money away every month, I'd buy a motorcyle. Anyway, giving up the betting wasn't a big deal since I nornally on bet Football. Well, I haven't bet yet and its cost me bigtime. I'm off to my best start ever. Only was picking the NCAA games. Here's how I would have faired:

Sides: 9-1
Totals: 8-2
Parlaying the Sides and Totals: 7-3

WHAT A TIME TO QUIT! I had thought about betting each day but was afraid the day I start betting, I'd start losing. Well, anyway, Good luck to all!

Fish,

May just be me, but there's not really a "right time" to quit betting. You will always see games that you "would have won". That's part of the allure. Having said that, there's never the right time to start betting. Some people can make a good living at this, but for most it's a freakin' crap shoot. I do well and then make some stupid arse decisions and give it back. Sounds like you are doing well so far. Should you get back in the game, I wish you nothing but the best. :)
