1837, kickserv, weepaul...anyone from Canada have any information on this rematch?
Sutherland opened -600 and quikly moved to -675 where it sits now. Sutherland is not a great fighter by any means, but he's a capable fighter who is young/fresh with a decent chin. Boucher on the other hand is 46 years old and was coming off a ten year retirement when they fought the first time, actually he won two 8 rounders vs total scrubs in his warm-up bouts for that fight. I've done some research and all the reports from the first fight had Sutherland completely dominating other than one moment where he was hurt by a counter. From what I've read Sutherland recovered quikly and went back to dominating the fight, eventually stopping the old man in the 9th round. The reports said Boucher looked horrible and fought even worse, no snap or power on his punches, slow reflexes, couldn't get off when he needed to...etc
After the fight, Boucher claimed he was feeling sick prior to the fight, and blames his poor performance on that as well as being too old...lol. Anyway, here we go again, 4 months later Boucher is ready to try it one more time
My question to Canada and everyone else is...why? Whats the point of this rematch, is there a promotional advantage for either guy? Is there any substancial financial support for Boucher that could lead to a hometown decision win for the old man?
I already have a small parlay riding on Sutherland at even money, but if there's nothing fishy going on it seems like Sutherland would be easy money...again
Any help would be appreciated...
