Be sure to shop on the futures...you can get far better numbers than the ones you have here. I agree... go Oklahoma & Illinois. They are my only two future plays. Played them right before the tourney. Gotta figure out how I want to hedge these now. :p

Oklahoma @ 25-1 ......2 units to win 50.
Illinois @ 100-1.....1 unit to win 100.

Bluegrass!
Much better odds at other shops. S. Illin. should be around 200-1 instead of the other. Someone would also have to be an idiot to get some of that 7-5 Duke........

Western Maryland
Carib had some great odds before the tourney. I got Kent State at 999 - 1. For $5, I could win almost $5000. At another offshore account I have, Kent was 75 - 1. Quite a difference. I bet a few other not so longshots at Carib as well.
Overall, their odds were the best I could find. They haven't posted their "Sweet 16" as of this post.

Notre Dame showed that Duke can be beat, and with a decent point guard performance for ND, would have, in my humble opinion.
I still like Maryland to win it all. I bet them at 6 - 1 before the tourney. Being a former student and fan, I am BIASed, however.
:)

Good luck!

...hey guys, i realize that there are better odds out there, but was just mainly looking for opinions on who you thought might be a sleeper from the remaining 16.... (I wouldn't play these at these odds either, but just posted it for a "reference.")

...looks like we've got Oklahoma, Ill, UCLA, and Kent St. (...other than Mary and Duke.)

...anyone else? I was thinking that Ariz and Oregon might not be such "long shots" and neither play in Duke or Mary's brackets...but I guess most are thinking that Oregon probably couldn't get past Kansas, huh?

...just looking for other opinions. thanks.

There's no doubt in my mind that Kansas is the best team in the country. The only problem is Roy Williams will probobly find a way to lose somewhere down the line. At 3-1, I think those are great odds, BUT?????

I just don't know why everyone thinks Williams and Huggins are such great coaches? These guys always have some of the best talent and always find a way to lose.

At 3-1, I may take a shot at Kansas and hope Williams lets them play ball and doesn't try to coach too much!
