great backcourt, solid perimeter game..

meat in the middle/frontcourt damn solid,...if there's any gripe it would be rebounding, but this team is just getting better in every phase, including that.

great defined roles.

Last time I felt this way was back in 86/87...when I was a student there.

I really think they can make a run. My biggest worry is that Boeheim won't abandon that zone for anything. In some ways I understood it in the conf tourney. I think he told himself, no matter what happens, I'm not going to man. More about discipline, knowing you have to play every single night for 4 days.

NCAA's are different and there will be times when you need to switch to Man when you are having trouble matching up and controlling defensive board. I do like Boeheim and have no problem with him playing a zone 95% of the time. But if he runs into someone like Duke, they are going to kill from the perimeter and/or let a lesser team outrebound them to win.

Syracuse won't last much longer. They might beat OU, but will be crushed by UNC. Refs will start giving UNC calls if games get close... nothing the networks want more than UNC in the Final 4

problem is, this year there are legitimately about 12-13 teams in the sweet 16 who can say that exact same thing.

At this point, to me the only real surprises to win it all would be arizona/xavier and to a lesser degree gonzaga/purdue.
