I was looking over the numbers today, and I am puzzled by the Syrc/Tenn spread. Tenn (struggling at 6-9 on 3-game slide) hosting Syracuse (ranked 8 at 16-2). Tenn is -3?!? Tenn giving points to a top ten team? Granted it is in Knoxville, but -3? This is a non-conf game and Sryc has revenge for a thumping last year at home. Tenn has played strong, keeping all games this year close, but with Coach Buzz shaking up the lineup (new starting lineup with Grindstaff), I just don't understand this number? This number must have some meaning? Not sure if it means Vols are top ten material with real bad luck, or if Syrc is over-ranked? TV game tonight so I was wanting opinions.
