Hi, I am new to the site.

I was just wondering if anyone has ever developed an efficient system to come out ahead on the "odds to win it all" picks that are put out before each sports season.

For example, there will be odds on each NFL team to win the 2007 SuperBowl. I am looking for a way to put a certain amont of money down on a certain number of teams--not necessarily the higher odd teams--more the middle of the pack to the longshots--and be able to have a high percentage of cashing in.

I'm sure that someone has a system, I just need someone to point me in the right direction. Hope this makes sense, and thanks!!

hey thanks, a reply from the big dog himself!! thanks, i'm not a big bettor--just looking for ways to make a little more money than i do now on the NCCA and NFL football. But i've just always been curious about this. I'm not real great at math, but just thought maybe someone came up with some strategy that would increase your chances of making money on this type of wager. It just seems that it is always one of those higher end middle of the pack teams that sort of surprises everyone when they win it all. How many people would have picked Pittsburgh and Seattle in the SuperBowl, or White Sox and Astros in the World Series? Oh well.

Thanks again for the response....
