T Tech vs NC State

A few weeks ago, I said that Tx Tech really sucked and at that time, it looked like they were headed for a 1 win season.

However, they looked impressive in beating Ole Miss last week with a 4th quarter TD drive lead by Kingsbury. This is the first victory by Tech over an SEC team since 1973. Bottom line is that the D is starting to improve and the running game may have found a player in Taurean Henderson.

I look for a good effort from Tech this weekend. They pretty much shut down E Manning for 3 quarters last week and seem capable of doing the same thing to Rivers. Insiders say the team is really excited about finally winning a game against a semi quality opponent outside the Big 12 and will be fired up for NC State. Crowd is expected to be pretty big at home as well. I think laying the 1.5 looks like a good bet to me. Histoically, Tech is a notorious choke team in certain situations and coming off a win qualifies for past choke jobs. But this team is looking better. Much better.

Don't kill me for poor memory, but I read online yesterday that it was a DB that got into a fight with a resturant worker for looking at his g/f. The article went on to further say that he will not be suspended this weekend, but possibly later after investigation
For some reason, I have liked Tech since opening lines and even moreso as the week progresses.

That is correct about the suspension of Ryan Aycock. He will suit up and play. He is also a safety, not a one on one cover guy.

However one handicaps this game, the suspension is probably irrelevant.

Tech also has some depth in the defensive backfield as well.

Word is Aycock beat up the guy for looking at his girlfriend. That's the kind of guy I want as a free safety.

There was another incident on Sunday where said guy A, got his ass whooped at a party, leaves and goes to get his football pals and then returns to the party and puts 8 people in the hospital.

Tough city, that's why I had to move, actually read the A&M media guide that describes the weather conditions.
