Game will be uptempo.........Saluki's man coverage may have matchup problems!
Ct should win transition points.
I don't know what the Saluki's are going to win tonight except perhaps the game if CT. does not play sharp.

Ct should cover this one!

Bear,nice job on Conn.I went the other way like a fool.Didn't see any of the game.We had our school play and I had to be there.How did gordon play.I'll look up the box scores.Great job/Wish I saw your post and listened to you.Who knows,Calhoun might just pull this off.Maryland didn't impress me last nite.Blake looked like he was throwing the game.I know he wasn't but I had a lot riding on that game.Just barly won.
Can see Aurigemmma and Calhoun making up and kissing with their NCAA trophies in hand.But you know a fight would start about where they put their trophies in the trophy case. Again good capping last nite

Hey Box,

Well,
The Saluki's played a great game but were really up against a very tough D last night. Ben G. looked good and so (surprisingly) did Taliek.......kept CT to under 15 TO (5 by Butler who was off)
Game was closer than the score but never really in doubt.
Ct transition points were big, perimeter D was big, but the "Saluki's were right there on the boards! It was a good W for CT looking at MD.

Gotta laugh at the Geno + Jim comments .....You're right on target there. Those 2 make me laugh..Geno's lookin to pay a little debt today vs Penn St. Years ago when CT was not good and Geno was looking for games he was snubbed by Penn State's Rene Portland. The way he says it He was told that " CT is not good enough......It would not be in Penn States best interest" Well, Geno does not forget and while he was accepted by Pat Summit and Tara VanDerveer.....he's pumping up the troops..after recent comments by Portland that CT wont schedule Penn ST.:shrug:

Well I tell ya Box, I have MD beating CT on my sheets and winning the whole thing...........but now I would not be surprised to see CT vs Oklahoma ......(one more time).
Maryland was a 6.5 fav back then and won by 12......it was very close at the half.........Ct won boards and I think this will be a game up at the Carrier Dome....more later.
