Taking a bit of a shot on Arsenal v City this morning.

I'm aware how good City is, but I know they played a hard fought win in the Champions league over Napoli. At the same time Arsenal rested the roster while playing a League Cup game.

I'm not backing the best side here, but I am backing a quality squad who is focused on playing this game while the clear leader may not be 100% here.

I wish this wasn't a sold out game, that way the Arsenal defenders could have got something better than standing room only tickets for the goal conceded.

Nonetheless, when you back the superior team and should be up by 2 or 3 at the half and you aren't it usually ends poorly for your wager. We are on the good side of that situation. While 0-0 at the half would have been ideal for my plays I'm comfortable at 0-1.

Arsenal have been getting clowned in the middle third, no doubt. They have the quality of the front foot to get this to a level match. Survive the first 10 minutes of the second half and good things will come.

A PK 4 mins into the second half was not what I had in mind.

Talk about a way to kill a game for the underdog, not sure how to come back from that.

Arsenal didn't play well enough to win, but to lose the whole ticket on an offside goal is just stomach turning.
