I have read on a few good gambling forums and read a few books on the subject on college basketball dogs being historically the best play.

I am thinking about putting 1 unit on every +points team this season and seeing how it works out. I have been playing some dogs and it seems like they hit more often than not.

Of course commiting this much of my bankroll to an untested theory I am curious as to what you guys think. I have been watching itfor a couple week and dogs have gone 37-26-5.

Anybody who has an opinion on his please post as this is what this community is about sharing info and helping others break the books. Thanks for reading

1-10-05 First run of posted dogs

all are 1 unit bets

I will be keeping stats such as home or away, and whether or not they have a winning or losing record home or away.

I will also be keeping track of +double digits, and +20 or more. Just as info this season for added or less confidence when we all say "that is alot of chalk to lay but..."

Wisconsin +1 (on road, losing road record) Win

Western Michigan +3.5 (@ home, winning home record)Loss

Buffalo +3.5 (on road, winning road record) Covered, Loss

Virginia Tech +1.5 (@home, winning home record)LOVE this play!!! Loss

Missouri +13.5 (on road, losing road record) Win

NC State +4 (on road, losing road record) win

Vanderbilt +5.5(on road, winning road record)win

The Citadel +24.5 (on road, losing road record) loss

Fairfield +5(on road, losing road record) Win

blgstocks,

I've been handicapping for 20 years and I can't find one winner on tomorrows card. You went through the entire card in an hour and came up with 45. You are my hero!

adding it might be interesting to put the losing road record teams getting points in categories such as point spreads +1 thru +5 and +6 thru +10 etc.... and show their SU and ATS records. Just a thought.

Hey kmac do you know of any sites that would have the SU and ATS and those type of things. I already have double digit dogs and 20something dogs, but i might consider 1-5 as well or maybe even hi profile dogs (top25 and big names)

Could you tell me what site you got the dogs covered and favorites covered from, im limited on sites and honestly havent been capping for that long at all. Thanks

If gambling was as easy as just picking the under dog there would be millionaires everywhere, that being said playing dogs is usually the way to go, but you need to learn to identify which dogs to play, maybe you will collect enough data to do so, i just think you might lose a lot of units doing things this way.

I was losing alot of units before to honest with you, not because i was bad at picking the teams it was just i had terrible money management.

my record before was 40-12-3 but i went for broke because i loaded so much on some game and it was stupid, cincy tennessee tech comes to mind as a heartbreaker.

This is mostly just a practice in money management and i think there really might be something to this dog nonsense
