So Cal
Does anybody have one of these? I am thinking about getting one and would like to know if it is any good. Just looking for a simple way to receive e-mail messages without having to be online at home computer.

I have one and have enjoyed it. You can get your news, sports scores, and whatever else you sign up for. The email and pager funtion work great. If you plan on doing alot of emailing....don't sign up for the cheap package as the emails add up. The cheap package is $14.95 per month for 500 messages with each message after that costing .6 cents a message. If the message is over 100 words....it counts as 2 messages. They have packages with 2000 messages and up.

There is certain AP news that comes to you automatically. If you want other news....you have to sign up at yahoo's wireless site and they send you whatever you want. The news also counts as messages. I hope this helps. If you want to reasearch further....check out www.weblinkwireless.com

Hope this helps!

i have a Motorola Timeport phone. I recive e-mail on that. It vibrates and tells me when i recive an e-mail. Most of the time i dont check my e-mail from my phone but i get to a coputer to do it. But if i want to check it it only cost me per minuit just like a phone call. So basicaly for 4.99 a month my phone virates to tell me when i have e-mail. I really like it.
