Is this a case of youth versus experience? Perhaps so. Dan Cunningham, Winky's trainer, states Taylor is very easy to train for. Very predictable. Well, would'nt you think the same about Wright? Winky has the experience factor in his favor. Is well seasoned and the consummate road warrior. Fought all over the world. Winky's first fight at 160lbs was versus Trinidad in May of 2005. Winky gave Mosley a free shot in their fight. Obviously Wright had little respect for Shane's punching power. Does anyone think for one second he will extend Taylor the same favor? My point being Taylor, I fee,l is still improving and learning. Is highly motivated as indicated by the fact he brought in Steward for this one. Winky is a well respected professional. Great stamina; well conditioned. Still, as one scribe pointed out, Taylor expended a lot of nervous energy in his bouts with Hopkins. I'd say he is settling down as he moves through the moves. He will stick and move. He is taller and has less ring wear on him. I say the champ, Taylor is a good value at around -120 or so.
