Between Green Bay and Iowa City
Outrights:

Chinarat Phadungsil(40/1) e.w.

Shiv Kapur(28/1) e.w.

Ignacio Garrido(66/1) e.w.

Brief write-up to follow . . . in a bit . . .

Edit: My play reflects the "call" I made mentally weeks ago of anticipating a modest lull with Phadungsil before his catching a second wind in Asia; I don't see this upward tick being any less memorable than his initial arrival on the joint sanctioned stage, and think the venue is very compatible with his youthful tendencies . . . Debated whether such a quick uptick would follow for Kapur after his 71st hole disappointment in Indonesia, but think this week is a strong candidate if it does happen; I've wondered how close he is to Arjun Atwal, which may induce a healthy perspective to free his flow into the event and then provide some sustained inspiration to the finish; the wager was in, and I then liked the bits and pieces gleaned from his segment on European Tour Weekly . . . Garrido continues to earn a fair number of opportunitis to carry my cash since sowing seeds in my mind early last year, and I always fancy his best chances as involving some elbow room on the course, and some mid-range odds when the class of the field is not too great nor his own presence overrated . . . And it took all of one event upon returning to the taxing climes of Asia for me to see a youthful theme emerging this campaign in terms of desire/preparation/brazenness, and I have not strayed far from the ranch since.

First round bets all crap - Yates WD after R1, Huang only tied with Chen(although website scoring showed him 1 up for most of the morning after 36 holes) - liao 14 strokes ahead cui - though the huang and liao matches were totally wrong capped, pity it didnt quite pay off - ending exactly +-0 with 1-1-1.
Outrights also pretty bad, except Gonnet who is T2.

He has a fair record at my home club also. He was our club champion about 5 years ago. He's a child, but can play.

Thanks for the little info - am usually backing around 15 players for outright each-way so am only mentioning a few here - picked him not only on the first round market so looks interesting if he can keep it up over the weekend.
