First year for me to participate in an NCAA Tourney Auction. All 64 teams are auctioned off, there is no minimum or maximum number of teams everyone can buy. Around 12 people are participating. Has anyone done this before? The teams are drawn randomly and each round one of your teams advances you get a % of the pot. I was wondering if there were any good strategies out there. I was also wondering if anyone has any good historical data of how far each seed on average advances through the tournament. I was thinking I could give myself a bidding ceiling of each seed based on the average number of rounds they typically advance. Thanks in advance.
