DNO is right....take advantage of a dog...

If I was to do a 3 team teaser, Id go with...

Maryland +13
Middle Tenn. St. +29
Mizzou +17.5

Just my 2 cents :D

I see your point, but after watching Iowa St.'s QB against FSU, it's pretty hard not to think they will absolutely smoke Kansas. ECU also has a lot of returning starters and Duke never seems to ever keep it close.

any other star dogs out there?

ECU looks great, ISU is iffy (potential letdown off tough loss), UGA is a bad idea. Clemson has about a 50% chance of winning straight-up.

Better:

ECU -4
Iowa -8
Pitt -9.5

Funny, I'm actually hoping that others buy into that as well about Clemson having a chance. . . would be nice to see that line drop to 7 or less.

Clemson is going to have to find a way to score early and often to stick with Georgia and with 4 offensive starters returning and a relatively inexperienced QB, you're asking for a little too much IMO.

If you want to make money on 3-team 10-point teasers, you've got to hit better than 80% of the components. Georgia does not have an 80% chance of winning straight up.

If you are iffy about one of these teams not covering your teaser. I will suggest throwing Auburn in there with the line at 7 you would get 17 w/ a 10 pter. There is no way in hell we will lose by more than 17 points. If we do i encourage all of you to fade me the whole year. Defense will reign for the tigers this year, even against a 9th yr SR. Carson palmer. USC has many inj.s and they are moving players around like russian roulette. The cadillac will role into La and cover the 7 by himself!

First of all, I don't play (nor do I ever recommend playing) parlays or teasers, but with that aside, here are a few Big Dogs to look at throwing in your 10-pt teaser....

Nevada +37 over Wash St.
Wyoming +42 over Tenn
UConn +45 over B.C.

...look for the big favs to pull their starters instead of risking injury in the second half. Just my humble opinion. Good luck to all this coming weekend.

p.s. I like the ECU, Iowa, Pitt and Georgia picks also....

Wareagle -- what's your take on Lovett's departure? Was it a personality clash with Tuberville, or was it the D's performance? What did you think of his game plan vs. UGA the last couple years? The scoreboard shows three straight W's for the good guys in the Oldest Rivalry in the South. Whatever Lovett's weaknesses may be, rest assured his presence will help the Clemson DB's greatly.

The West Coast locals were betting up the Trojans when the Stardust opened last night, but I like your Tigers. Moneyline parlay: Auburn & Auburn with a Lake to pay 12:1 or so.

MW-my take on Lovett is indifferent. He was 1-3 against bammer, given one of those games was a shutout in tuscalloser, but last year was embarassing. My final decision will be made after i see how Chizik's 3-4 defense peforms this year. The auburn defense is always above average no matter who the coach...

as for clemson, they will undoubtedly have a better D this year, but then again, no offense but it has been awful for a while now. it will be very interesting to see how clemson makes up for Woodrow's total offensive domination.

I believe you're wrong about Georgia and their chances, but we shall find out on Saturday!

Teasers should be called loosers. You might win a few in a row, but in the long run I challenge anyone to make $$ off them.
Not to be a bummer or anything; they are fun as small side bats.

Good advice, too, Dynomar.

I've been considering the tease of nations for the weekend and have come up with a couple.

Penn st -3
MTSU +29
UGA +1

I like playing tease because they're fun to play, but never play a ton of $ on them for obvious reasons.

My picks so far for the weekend are:

Iowa St -21
Louisville -13.5
ECU -14
Maryland +3
