Haven't been posting, but enjoying some success thus far in college football. it's a good thing, because I can't buy a victory in NFL.
Hit my only play last week in Penn St. as well as a nice 7-team moneyline parlay which included Northwestern (-460), Nebraska (-360), Oregon (+250), Washington (+130), South Carolina (+150), Missouri (-250), and UCLA (-300) that paid 52-1.
So, 6-5-2 on the year, but up considerably with the parlay hit.
The plays this week look like this...
ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE -3
This is my play of the week.
The Tide is the better team here, and I'm starting to buy into the Saban hype after I was skeptical early. Bama is much better coached, has the better QB, better receivers, better O-line, and a better defense. I think that Saban will be able to devise a plan to contain McFadden/Jones combo and the gimmicky Arkansas O. Alabama has revenge on their minds as they amassed over 500 yards of total offense last year in Fayetteville and should have won that game.
Tide rolls here 30-17.
NORTH CAROLINA TAR HEELS -3
Anti-Virginia play. Al Groh on the road against Butch Davis. NC should win this game easily. Not enough offense for the Cavaliers.
Heels 20 'Hoos 6
AUBURN TIGERS-13
Auburn coming off a SU loss is a covering machine. Mississippi State is downright terrible. This is exactly the opponent the struggling Tigers need in their lives right now. Tubberville will have his boys ready to go. Blowout city in Jordan-Hare.
40-10 War Eagle.
More to come later....
