Televised sports , live or tape ?

Do you prefer watching them live or taping them (not knowing the results) ???

Myself , I'll tape a game that I have money on . This way , you can fast-forward through the commericals , pause when nature calls (go to the fridge for MORE beer ) , and REALLY REALLY get into the game . Shit , i'll stop action as they come out the huddle , anticipate what I WANT THEM TO DO and go freeze action in mid- play to see if anyones open ! hahahahahaha . IF you've ever done this YOU KNOW there are times in a game when the announcers comment on some penalty or another and they DON'T SHOW THE REPLAY of the supposed infraction (that pisses me off) , so you can rewind and maybe get a hint or 2 ,. Not to mention taking a real good look at close plays . Its MADDENING at times but i enjoy it . How about you ????

GT, during football season, I have classes on Monday and Thursday nights, so I don't get to watch those games until late at night after I return home. I always tape them and refuse to listen to the car radio on the way back from class b/c I'm afraid I might catch a final score and ruin it....

...also, very good points about the slow mo, freeze frame and rewind to get a replay when the broadcast didn't show one. I do that very same chit. LMAO. Hell, sometimes I'll tape a CFB game off of one channel while watching another game on another channel....

...damn girlfriends hate when college football season rolls around every year, but I can't figure out why.... :shrug:

use to be live but my wife took control of t.v set and now my last ressource is radio. This house i a no man land....i'm loosing the battle my friends.

Frogy - you need to flee Canada and escape to the U.S. Husbands here take full control over the remote at all times. It may cost us any chance of ever having sex, but they can't get that damn' remote out of our hands at any cost! BTW I just sneak out of bed and i,m watching a good 15 min of sports and Elga wont know. Maybe my mistake to have married an ex russian agent formally employed by Adolf.
