I just can not see Akron coming up with a top effort after their shocking collapse vs. Toledo. That was the kind of loss that stays in a teams psyche for quite a while. Big time match up problems for the Zips as well as Collins and Tyndale tower over the Zips small guards. Toss in the Chaney thing and its apparent to me that the deck is stacked against Akron tonight.

under normal cirumstances, id give akron a look. but you hit the nail on the head -- akron's utter collapse against toledo could stick with the zips for awhile. just a truly inexplicable foldjob by the zips with everything at stake last friday. hopefully they end up on a mission next year (much the way oral roberts and davidson seemed to be this year after faltering in their conference tourneys in 2005) but youre right - the deck is stacked against akron here even though, in a vacuum, the zips might be capable of winning outright. but not tonight.

Any lean on the totals or other totals?

yeah, I like the over a bit. Akron has given up a lot of points to the higher profile teams that they have faced this year. I also think that it would be in their best interest to push the ball up the floor as much as possible on temple.
