Recent Meetings-----LY, Tenn win/no cover as 19' pt. Road Fav, 94-83.

TENN ATS Road Performance--------0-5 SU / 4-1 ATS. That's good
mtsu " " " .--------1-4 SU / 2-3 ATS Below Avge.

TENN Home Fav Record---------------3-2 SU / 3-1 ATS That's good

TENN Quality Wins........none
mtsu " " ........@ New Orleans

TENN Recent performance-----2-3 SU / 5-0 ATS
mtsu " " -----1-4 ST / 2-3 ATS

Public Perception----------------Tennessee' 5 "W's" in the ATS column is impressive

In L 10 games, Tennessee has only been a double digit Home Fav one time and lost/no cover vs. West Va.

Conclusion: TENNESSEE is laying a large number here for good reason. In ATS terms, they have played very well both at home and on the road. mtsu is playing below average on the road. Lay the wood.

PLAY: TENNESSEE -18'

Couple other "hidden" stats:

Couple other "hidden" stats:

Tennessee is in the middle of a three game home stand in six nights. . . this being sandwiched between Syracuse and South Carolina which are more important games to the Vols to focus on than MTSU! Do you really think they have prepared for this game at all? Do you think they considered matchups and practiced for MTSU yesterday OR South Carolina?!?! LOL. . . the answer is obvious. I don't expect to see the starters play past the 10 minute mark of the 2nd half and this game reeks of a backdoor cover. That or Tennessee may be content with a 10 point victory anyways because they have a tendency to lower themselves to the level of their competition.

One final question:

Why did Vegas even issue a line for this game???

Answer:

Because they figured they would get a lot of money on Tennessee (do you really think Vegas expected that MTSU would get a lot of action?!?!) which will be the wrong side for this game.
