VERY Strong play for me here:

Tn - 4.5

and Tenn ML - 225 for even bigger

This line is a joke as the lines makers still havent figured out Miss State isn't the team they have been in previous years.

Tenn looks stronger than they have in many years and have a fresh new look feel with new head coach. If you have watched them play...you know they have their sheet together. The dawgs' home crowd will not be able to save them from the volunteers tonight. I will be attending game tonight

This line is almost as much of a joke as LSU at - 5 last week again Ms State.

Any thoughts??

Miss ST. has been plagued by turnovers which I feel plays right into the strength of UT. Letdown is the only concern but I think you won't see that in the very next game but a couple down the road

Vols really blew there load against Florida. The whole town (and team) has been celebrating since Sat. night. Tenn. should win but a let down is very possible. Be careful.

Go Vols !

I considered the letdown factor...after win vs Fla

But this new Tn coach seems to have these guys heads fine tuned. Miss St. team chemistry is non existant right now. 2 Players just got kicked off team. Very young group. Big man Morgan is a senior but far from being a real talent.

Tenn knows how important every conference win is. They also know that any team in the SEC can beat any team in the SEC on any given night. This is why i don't think the letdown factor plays such a big role. They are just a much better team ....dawgs would have to have a stellar night to pull this one out imo.

I hope you're right! I'm still undecided if I'm gonna pull the trigger. Vols will probably win by 3 or 4. :)

Do you really think any of us here know more than the linesmaker and that "they haven't figured out Miss State isn't the team they have been in previous years" ? I think they know more about this team and all teams than any of us on here and probably know what the outcome will be already. I think people get hit in the face when they think they know more than the linesmaker...not to mention, they are the ones setting this line. This is at a totally different venue for Tennessee and I am sure Miss. St. will come out now trying to knock off the team that just beat undefeated Florida. I think this one is closer than the public thinks. GL with the play though, I would just be careful when a line looks to good to be true...most likely it is.

Yes, I have thought about this a lot, and 95% believe they can simulate a game better than all the betting public to know the outcome within a point in every matchup...vegas isn't in the business to make 10% juice on games. Why would they when they can open a line to get the public to go 70-80% or more on one side in games? That is why I stay away from a lot of the high profile games unless I absoultely love it...a lot of the TV games are usually within .5-1 pt of the closing line.

They definitely didn't figure it out in time for the LSU game last week. Historically Miss State has been very good home team and i think that theory lingers a bit. Fact is the crowd support here has diminished significantly. The whole school which has been a "basketball school" for the last 6-8 years (bc Lord knows we have sucked it up in football) knows we suck on the hardwood this year. And I am sorry to say but most of our student body and alumni are fair weather fans.

This game comes down to the fact that we just don't measure up with talent, experience. And we have no bench.

MAYBE it's a close one.....but i just dont see any way state pulls out a victory here. Hitting the money line hard.

71 - 63 Vols

Peace

I will give you the ML...I can see that. I just see it being a one possession game or POSSIBLY a Miss. St. victory...it just seems like everyone is all over Tennessee. Is it a possibility that more than the usual will come out tonight to see if Tennessee can possibly be upset.

GL with the ML! Hope you get it.
