Tennessee vs Alabama

Unfortunately,both teams are out of the SEC Championship race but still looks to be a great ballgame.Tennessee with its usual stable full of pro prospects has underachieved all year.The coaching staff"the 3 stooges"Fulmer,Sanders,and Chavis have been outcoached in everygame so far.Will it continue?Tennessee enters this game with multiple injuries but none as big as QB Casey Clausen.He is 20-4 as a starter but cant seem to get the offense flowing due to horrendous play calling.Kelly Washington"aka the future"has all the talent and the mouth to back it up.I do agree he needs to touch the play more than his 7 catch average a game,but Sanders doesnt agreee.Tennessee is riding a 8 year winning streak and will have to find a way to score more than 20pts to win this game.
Alabama on probation has been a very good team this year.They too have had key injuries but the coaching staff has done a much better job.Alabama defense is the best I have seen since the 92 National Champs year.I agree with Vegas that this will be a close game but the public is hammering Bama hard.As of Thur night the line is Tenn -2.I like Tennessee in a hard faught game under the lights at home -2.
I see alot of Bama avatars here at MJ's.Im willing to bet loser has to wear the others avatar till the end of the season.This bet is especially for you DUNCAN.Also I would like to bet you lunch at Houston's.Anybodyelse want to wager a avatar.Trust me...I really dont want that goofy elephant by my name.Good luck this weekend.........................

Clausen will last only for the first quarter then the backup will be running for his life. Tenn doesn't know whats going on with their season and bama plays as if it's the last play of the season every down. Tenn just won't be able to stop the bama run. I see a low scoring game here.

If this game were in Tuscaloosa, I wouldnt give Tenn. a chance but its not. Neyland at night is a hard place to win no matter who you are. Although, Bama's team this year is rollin and I dont see the train stoppin for too long in Knoxville! I like the tide with Croyle at QB. With him at QB, Bama can open up the playbook at keep Tenn. confused all night long. The only thing that worries me is Bama's DB's matched up against Tenn. receivers?? That wont be a problem as long as Bama's front four cant keep pressure on the qb like we did against ole miss. This game could go either way but I think this is Bama's best chance to win in the past 3 years.

That's great! "the three stooges". I wonder if Clausen and Washington makes 70% of the play calls this weekend....probably be better off.......AND hell no would i consider wearing the ugly grey elephant on my body...a dinner at Mario's would be a good wager with any Bama backer! Go Smokey!

Nobody has taken the bet yet......I know my boy Duncan will though.He bleeds Bama football.Taoist......that was a good one.It has to have scared some people not expecting it.Joe De....the reason I call them "the 3 stooges" is what other college program has their head coach,off coordinator,and defense coordinator standing on the sidelines 3 feet apart.Dont get me wrong...these guys can recruit with anybody but if there gameplan doesnt work then you can forget about them changing anything.Good luck Bama fans.....Ill be at the game as usual.Hope to find some bettors.It will be nice to have all these Bama paraphernalia off this site for a few weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think my computer just melted, the walls in my house are shaking and my ears cannot believe what they are hearing with that sacriligious noise coming out of the speakers. The worst song in history. I am glad that the only time that I will hear it on Saturday night will be before the game and at halftime!!!

Clausen is brittle and he is facing the best front seven that he will face this year. He has not taken a hit in three weeks and IF he plays, HE WILL GET HIT! They will be coming at him hard just to see if he can take it. Nothing like an injury to give a rush more incentive to get the QB. Bama's front four already has 18 sacks on the year. UT will not run against us, take for example the -23 yards by Oklahoma and last week 8 yards to Ole Miss. They are first in the SEC against the rush. Look out Casey!

I thought this was a Tennessee/Alabama thread.What's all the Georgia shots about.Didnt hear too much domination talk when we were paddling that Dawgbutt for 9 years in arow.And speaking of National Championships......half the people on this forum werent even born when Georgia last won.1980?????Back to the game.......its true Alabama has the best front seven Tennessee faced and Casey will prolly be knocked out of this game.But Tennessee is in a must win situation and their confidence against Alabama is just like Flordia's when they play Tennessee.Cant wait to see all them elephants vanish!!!!!!It will be a much prettier forum..............
